Why Do People Enjoy Watching Animes — Here Are Some Insightful Reasons

Perhaps this is one uncommon topic that you could ever find written ..

ANIME .. !!

One of the genre that actually stays with me since the day i was introduced to it until now. Some people might think or call it a childish, boring, makes you an addict etc. Well, i’m pretty sure i’m not the kind of person that would neglect all his daily activities just to sit a whole day watching it. I believe there should be a balance.

I see anime as my kind of refreshing program, like how people see relaxing on a tub, drawing, playing instruments & others.

I remember my self asking why do i enjoy watching anime and tried to actually think about it as i discussed the topic with some friends. And here are the reasons why :

1. It fulfills fantasy and imaginative desires
   Let’s be honest .. you have (or had) some hidden fantasy inside since you were a little. Growing up thinking about becoming a hero, ninja, a fearful pirate, being in a world where you can use magic, spells, have a tremendous power, or even a rubber body.
   Then you becomes an adult and suddenly reality kicks in and keeps you from your imaginative thoughts. Aren’t you related to this ?
   Also the story-line of Anime are pretty much interesting as well as the character development, plots twist, unexpected conflicts and satisfying ending.
   Not to mention animation quality of the modern anime, inspiring back-sound and emotional voice actors.
   This all wrapped in beautifully and delivered to the watchers.
2. It has CRAZY stuffs inside
   I have watched a lot types of stories in anime, from ninja and smart detective to isolated orphanage where the kids are raised to become meal for demons.
   Some of the stories and characters were so greatly “crazy” developed that i my self could not believe one can come to such an ideas. The artists really are something. I’m surprised by how they imagine things.
   It gave me a rough pictures how things “could” happen if human were about to design a world.
3. You can learn one of two Japanese
   After a lot of watching i believe there must be something that you could learn from. Maybe not a whole dialogue but at least some often used words or sentences like “baka” or “Kimi nara dekiru yo! (If it is you, you will be able to do it)” or “baka na koto o iu na! (Don’t Say Such Stupid Things).
   More or less, it should at least helps you get familiar with the Japanese words which could somehow brings you benefits in the future.

I believe there are still a lot more reasons as why and how this beautiful genre touches our heart and blows our mind.

It may not be for everyone, but i think those who enjoy watching animes may be related to this article.
